Natalie is the Director of Accreditation in the Consumer Data Right branch at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. The Consumer Data Right branch has the responsibility for the ACCC’s part in the implementation of the government’s policy of allowing consumers to direct information holders to provide their data to accredited service providers. The Consumer Data Right seeks to allow consumers to access higher quality and lower cost services as well as drive productivity by encouraging the development of innovative services. The Consumer Data Right will be rolled out initially in the banking sector, but move to other sectors such as energy, telecommunication and progressively to other sectors on recommendation from the ACCC.
